The Métier de l'Ingénieur Généraliste or MIG is an innovative pedagogical approach in the first year undergraduate formation core at the Ecole des mines de Paris. Within this framework, the Center of Energy and Processes at Sophia Antipolis organised a three-weeks long period that includes visits, lectures and personal work under the general title of Energy Alternatives of the future (alternatives énergétiques du futur or ALEF).
